Forschungsfrage/Ziel:

Ziel des Projektes ist ein verbessertes Verständnis der Mechanismen, Faktoren und Prozesse im Zusammenhang mit der Integration von Einwanderern. Es soll auch Unterschiede in der Arbeitsmarktplatzierung von Einwanderern in EU-Ländern erklären. Die Forschungsaufgabe wird von zwei Perspektiven angegangen. Bei der Individualperspektive liegt der Schwerpunkt auf den Unterschieden in den Charakteristika von Einwanderern; die institutionelle Perspektive beschäftigt sich mit den Unterschieden zwischen den einzelnen Ländern in der Einwanderungspolitik, der Arbeitsmarktstruktur und dem System von Bildungs- und Wohlfahrtsregimen.
